Robert brings a solid general management and business development expertise to the team, building and empowering expert teams (50 to 100 FTEs) and developing innovative strategies. His track record of profit and loss responsibilities includes delivering sales and marketing targets ranging from €50 million to about €750 million. Past companies include Schering Plough, Sanofi, Serono, and Merck Serono. Robert’s academic background includes a Master in molecular biology (University of Geneva) and 5 years of research in neuroscience (University of Lausanne), as well as varied teaching experiences. Today, his combination of business and academic experience allows him to build bridges between the academic and industrial worlds. Robert’s successful start-up experience (Anesta, acquired by Cephalon) and the many driving roles he has played in management of change are key assets for the Geneva Biotech Center.
