A Swiss Company founded in 2013, the Geneva Biotech Center responds to the growing trend of pharmaceutical companies outsourcing research and development capabilities and acquiring projects in more advanced stages.
Consequently, the GBC operates as a pre-pharmaceutical company: collaborating with selected partners to develop promising and innovative molecules, to be licensed to a pharmaceutical company for their commercialization.
The Geneva Biotech Center is composed of a group of business and scientific experts passionate about their work, each with more than twenty years of experience, mainly in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry.
Campus Biotech
The Léman Region hosts numerous academic and industrial institutions dedicated to research and development in the life sciences. Initially hosted as a start-up by the foundation Eclosion in Plan-les-Ouates, the Geneva Biotech Center has moved to the Campus Biotech Innovation Park in June 2016 to be an active part of this stimulating entrepreneurial environment.
